How it works

A software upgrade may deliver increased productivity, enhanced capability, lower operating cost or a combination of all of these. However, it’s generally expensive and often requires an upfront investment that can be difficult to pay and/or account for.  BOQ Finance works with both customers and vendors to spread the software license and maintenance cost over the license term, avoiding large upfront payments.

The cost justification for new software generally makes sense as the benefit of increased revenues or reduced cost far out ways the initial up front cost. The problem is this benefit is delivered over time whilst the costs are incurred up front.

Paying for the software and maintenance costs over the life of the software license, as it delivers value to your business, can be a more attractive option. BOQ Finance can structure either a lease or a loan to cover the cost of both the initial license cost as well as the annual maintenance costs.
